Rachel Mills

Senior Policy Analyst

Rachel (she/her) is Venezuelan-Canadian and lives in Fredericton, New Brunswick, on the traditional unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik, Mi’kmaq, and Peskotomuhkati peoples.


As a policy analyst, Rachel does research and analysis to help the organization, governments, and the public gain a broader understanding of important disability issues and promotes policy solutions that advance the full inclusion of people with an intellectual disability. As a registered social worker, Rachel has dedicated her career to working in the nonprofit sector, primarily in the disability inclusion field. She has a particular interest in writing and making information accessible and inclusive using plain language.


Her passions in life include teaching Zumba, making (and eating) pizza, spending time with animals, and celebrating Halloween. She has a keen interest in body liberation and intertwines her passion for social justice into her various roles in the community.
