Lateisha Ugwuegbula

Teisha (she/her) lives in West Kelowna, British Columbia, on the traditional territory of the syilx/Okanagan people.

Teisha is passionate about social justice and contributing to systemic change that removes barriers for marginalized peoples and generates equity and inclusion. As a policy analyst, Teisha conducts disability-related research and analysis to help community stakeholders, governments, and the public gain a broader understanding of important disability issues and to promote evidence-based policy positions and solutions.

In her free time, Teisha tries to spend as much time outside as possible relaxing on the beach, paddleboarding, hiking, camping, or backpacking. She also loves to travel the world, read with her local book club, and sew.
