Don Gallant

Don (he/him) lives in Torbay, Newfoundland and Labrador; ancestral homelands of the Beothuk, and the island of Newfoundland as the ancestral homelands of the Mi’kmaq and Beothuk.

Don is the National Director of Ready, Willing & Able (RWA) and has been since its inception in 2014. As National Director, Don is responsible for leadership and oversight of RWA; a national employment initiative delivered in partnership with 19 provincial/territorial Delivery Partners via a national RWA team situated in 30 communities across Canada.

Don and his partner Mabel are world class travelers. He enjoys a glass of red wine and a game of scrabble, except when Mabel wins (which is most of the time). But most of all, Don enjoys spending as much time as possible with his four grandchildren.
