Jeff Ferguson

Jeff (he/him) is a settler in Ottawa, Ontario, on the traditional territory of the Algonquin and Anishinaabe Nations. Originally from New Brunswick, Jeff works in our Ottawa Office. In his early career, Jeff worked in Ottawa as a political aid and advisor, and later held various senior executive positions in the government of New Brunswick. In 2016, Jeff moved to Ottawa and joined the federal government as an Executive Director at the Department of Employment and Social Development (ESDC).

 

After 28 years in government, Jeff left to work full-time within the national disability community at Inclusion Canada. Jeff’s work focuses on income security, inclusive education, and communications. Jeff has always been an ally and advocate for people with disabilities and has worked as a champion to foster more inclusive societies.

 

In his spare time, when not running the hockey rink circuit with his daughter, Jeff can be found exploring other interesting countries around the globe.  Jeff is also a passionate supporter of 100 Men Who Care Ottawa.

 

Jeff and his wife Kathia, have two children, Zachary and Olivia.
