Gordon Porter, Director of IEC, gave a lecture on September 2, 2015 at Gimnasio Moderno, a school in Bogota, Colombia with a reputation as one of the elite schools in that country. Two-hundred and fifty teachers, parents and school officials attended the afternoon session.

The school Rector, Victor Alberto Gomez, welcomed Dr. Porter to the school and indicated the interest of his teachers in learning more about practices to make inclusive education work well.

The school has a number of students with diverse needs and is focused on enhancing the support they give teachers.
